From relaxing weekly yoga sessions to grabbing a tasty bite to eat at our on-site restaurant, it’s easy to stay busy in between work at the Park.

Blending work, fitness, relaxation and fun, we’re creating a well-rounded approach to work and life. So, step into our shoes and let’s take a look at a typical Monday to Friday on-site:

A week in the life at White Rose Park

From arriving at work to clocking off on Friday, a week at White Rose Park can be as jam-packed or laid back as you like – the time is all yours!

Monday

No need to dread the Monday morning commute – we arrive at White Rose Park feeling stress-free and ready for a productive week. Whether we’re travelling by car, bus, bike or even on foot, there are plenty of ways to get to White Rose Park. With safe, secure and peaceful walking routes, as well as cycling paths and plenty of bike storage at the Park, active travel has never been so simple.

Travelling actively is the perfect chance to breathe in the fresh air and focus your mind before the week has even begun, reflecting on the weekend and preparing yourself for what the new week has in store.

Hit the ground running

But make sure you get here early, because running club kicks off at 7am! Lace up your trainers and join us for a refreshing jog around our vibrant green spaces. Not only promoting good physical fitness, but a group activity like running club also provides an opportunity for networking and building camaraderie with your colleagues, or connect with other members of the White Rose Park community. What better way to get rid of those Monday blues?

Find your flow, find your zen

If you’d prefer something a little more relaxed, join us for Monday yoga at 12:30pm for a relaxed lunchtime. Led by experienced instructors from zeno, these sessions aim to centre your body and mind, while providing a peaceful end to your Monday, preparing you for a focussed and productive week ahead.We provide yoga mats and props, so all you need to bring is a willingness to relax and rejuvenate, the perfect combination for a good week.

Tuesday

Now we’re onto Tuesday – the toughest day of the week, some might say. Therefore, we know how important it is to get the day going right.

Feel the burn

We’re kickstarting the day with an early morning personal training session at 8am, at the on-site Outdoor Training Park. Our skilled trainers are on hand to provide invigorating workouts, tailored to individual fitness goals and abilities. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or an experienced fitness enthusiast, these sessions are about you. It’s your fitness, your way.

Equipped with all the latest state-of-the-art machinery, this is the perfect chance to get expert guidance on how to use this gym equipment properly – totally free of charge.

Workday fitness is reported to improve productivity, with study participants reporting a 72% improvement in time management and workload completed on the days they exercise. Together, let’s build your strength, endurance and fitness, and get your day off on the right foot.

Embrace the outdoors

And when it gets to lunchtime? We’re getting our steps in for the day and taking a peaceful stroll around the Chelsea Garden to enjoy a spot of sunshine. Whether it’s a moment of you-time or you use this opportunity to catch up with a team member, it’s always a good idea to spend your lunch break away from your desk.

Wednesday

Get your caffeine fix

Hump day getting to you? No problem. We’re heading over to our on-site Starbucks for a piping hot cup of coffee to get over that midweek slump.

Balance your mind and body

Take a break from your work and melt away your tensions with our 12:30pm lunchtime yoga session. This relaxing yoga practice will help you find balance, relieve stress and improve your flexibility. That way, you can recharge your energy and return to your work with a renewed sense of clarity and tranquility.

Again, we’ll provide the equipment and the expertise, so it doesn’t matter if this is your first session or your hundredth. Either book your slot in the White Rose Park app, or simply turn up!

Thursday

A lunchtime pick-me-up

Now it’s time for a treat, with a tasty lunchtime over at Oliver’s – our on-site restaurant. Serving up a rotating menu of deliciously healthy dishes – from pizza parties to street food – sometimes it’s worth leaving your meal prep at home for something a little different!

Invite your colleagues, enjoy a chat, catch up and a tempting meal around the table with friends. We’ll see you there!

Get fit, get motivated

Need some motivation to get you through the second half of the week? Join us for our 4:30pm Thursday afternoon PT sessions to revitalise your energy levels. Push yourself to new limits and achieve your fitness goals with the guidance and motivation of our expert trainers. Boost your mood, release endorphins and feel a surge of motivation to carry you through the rest of the week.

Friday

Walk & Talk

Now we’ve reached Friday, it’s time to take advantage of our Walk and Talk session to soak in the beauty of White Rose Park and enjoy some fresh air. This casual walk provides an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with your fellow teammates and increase your daily step count.

Not only will this help you unwind and destress, but it promotes open communication and fosters a sense of community within the Park – a no-brainer!

Friday night fun

It’s 4:30pm on Friday afternoon, you’ve had a productive week and you’re ready to clock off. What better way to round off the typical week than a trip over to the White Rose Shopping Centre?

Whether you’re looking for a little payday retail therapy in the brand-new M&S megastore, a catch up with family and friends over a delicious meal or you’d even like to relax and unwind at the cinemas watching the latest blockbuster, you’re not short of entertainment when you work at White Rose Park.

Balancing work and life, every day of the week

And that’s a wrap! But remember, White Rose Park is not just open Monday to Friday, we’re here 24/7. This means that our on-site community can still take advantage of our on-site facilities – such as the on-site Training Park – every day of the week.

Evidently, working at White Rose Park is not just about the work, we’ve built a thriving campus and community with a hub of activity.
